The Shivering Stacks

The idea for the interior program focused on family and friends coming together to enjoy food and company. Groups of people all with different background occupying different spaces and forced to overlap. It creates a unique experience for the individual and a complex shape when thinking abstractly. The interior program was designed around simple shapes coming together and creating a complex form.

The idea for the exterior form focused on using simple geometry and creating a profile based on a few parameters that were created for this project. Four rectangles were used and then rotated with in the site bounds to be used as a reference in creating the exterior shape of the building.
